Volkswagen draws strong interest in the capital with design and technology
Teramont President, Teramont X, Golf and Viloran drew strong public interest at Vietnam Mobility Show 2025.
As the only German brand at the Vietnam Mobility Show (VnMS) 2025, Volkswagen made an impression with its lineup of imported vehicles across different segments. In a simple yet refined display space, the European brand showcased four models: Teramont X, Teramont President, Viloran, and especially the new hatchback Golf.
Phùng Thanh Mỹ from Long Biên, Hanoi, said his main purpose for coming to VnMS was to experience the six-seat Teramont President. "I liked it from the photos, but I wanted to see it in person before deciding whether to buy it," Mỹ added.
The Teramont President was one of Volkswagen's notable surprises at this year's VnMS. The model arrived in Vietnam in the fourth quarter of 2025 but was not widely promoted. It has a design similar to the Teramont X, but the interior is different, focusing on second-row passengers with a business-class style.
In the Teramont President, the two middle-row seats are separated and come with ventilation, reclining backrests, massage functions, leg rests and more. This version is aimed at businesspeople or families that prioritize comfort on long trips.
Besides the Teramont President, Volkswagen's display area also featured the Golf, a B+ segment hatchback imported from Germany. Visitors were interested not only in viewing it but also in experiencing it on off-road terrain or on highways.
The Viloran remains Volkswagen's star model, contributing the largest share of sales for the German brand. Many family customers closely examined Volkswagen's premium MPV and were surprised by its spaciousness and accompanying features.
In the final days of the year, alongside its activities at the VnMS exhibition, Volkswagen is also rolling out a promotion for the Touareg. The company is offering a VND 330 million incentive for customers buying the flagship Touareg SUV in the Elegance version during March 27-31, 2026.
